Training & Capacity Building

Role-based workplace training that turns policy and emergency plans into actions people can perform.

What this service means in practice

More than a checklist.

Workplace training is most useful when participants can connect it to the situations they may actually face. CaLeo Health Care therefore favours practical, role-based sessions over generic slide-heavy awareness programmes.

Training can cover first aid, CPR, AED use, medical emergencies, occupational-health awareness, supervisor responsibilities and workforce health topics. Programmes can be designed as one-time sessions, competency-focused workshops or a recurring annual calendar.

Where organisations usually need help

Problems this service is designed to solve.

  • Training is delivered to meet a calendar requirement but behaviour does not change
  • Participants know theory but are unsure what to do in a real event
  • The same session is given to first-aiders, supervisors and general employees
  • There is no refresher rhythm after initial training
  • Training content is not linked to site hazards or emergency processes

What CaLeo can put in place

Practical outputs, not activity for its own sake.

  • Role-based learning objectives and session design
  • Practical demonstration and scenario components where appropriate
  • Participant or competency records
  • Refresher recommendations
  • Optional linkage with drills, OHC processes and emergency plans

Scope can include

Build the service around the site.

The final scope depends on workforce, shifts, hazards, existing systems and the purpose of the engagement. The items below can be used as a focused standalone scope or combined with related services.

  • Hands-on first aid, CPR and AED training
  • Bleeding control, burns, fractures and medical emergencies
  • Occupational-health awareness sessions
  • Safety and emergency response training
  • Role-based programmes for workers and supervisors
  • Health talks and workforce wellness sessions
  • Scenario practice and competency observation
  • Refresher training and annual training calendar

How we approach it

Assess. Design. Make it usable.

CaLeo Health Care starts with the workplace context and builds the minimum practical system required for the organisation.

Define the audience

Clarify what the participant group actually needs to know or perform.

Teach and practise

Combine explanation with demonstration, scenarios and hands-on activity when relevant.

Reinforce

Plan refreshers, drills or targeted follow-up for skills that decay over time.

Common questions

Before you define the scope.

Can sessions be customised to our site?

Yes. Scenarios, role emphasis and examples can be adapted to the workforce, hazards and existing emergency system.

Can you provide refresher training?

Yes. Refresher sessions can be shorter and more scenario-focused than the original programme, depending on the skill and audience.
